Boston by Michael Cardinali
LOST, Boston by Michael Cardinali, 2018
"My wife and I moved to Boston ten years ago. In this book, I’m trying to map the terrain of what it has felt like to be here and slowly learn a place through inhabiting it – from the grays to the greens and the stuff in between".
Michael Cardinali was born in New York in 1979, and grew up in Brooklyn and New Jersey. He received a BFA from SUNY Purchase and an MFA in Photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. He has exhibited across the U.S. and internationally. He was recently awarded a 2018 residency at the Vermont Studio Center, and will also be representing Massachusetts in the Treat Gallery NYC project, @treatamericaproject. He lives and works in Boston, and teaches photography at the University of New Hampshire.
