Taking Care - The Black Angels of Sea View Hospital
A Collaboration between KGP and the Staten Island Museum

Staten Island Museum is proud to continue celebrating the incredible work of the “Black Angels” with the release of an exhibition catalog to accompany Taking Care: The Black Angels of Sea View Hospital, now on view. The catalog features essays by scholar advisors Maria Smilios, Debbie-Ann Paige, Dr. Rita Reynolds, Lisa Holland, and Dr. Cynthia Connolly, as well as thoughts from artists Elissa Blount Moorhead and Bradford Young. This hardcover volume features an expanded list of Sea View hospital nursing staff along with new images and nurse biographies.
