Threshold is defined as “the magnitude that must be exceeded for a certain reaction, to occur or be manifested.” Inspired by fifty straight days of extreme sleep deprivation, the series utilizes movement to emulate the malleability of the passage of time. Simulating my inconceivable, tormented experience feathers descend through a one second exposure enabling the viewer to feel the same extraordinary distortion of time I endured.
